SSL Certificate Support

To enable HTTPS on your website, you need to get a certificate (type of file) from a Certificate Authority (CA). Currently, we manage SSL encryption on our client website on their behalf.

WordPress (WP) is free, and it is developed by an expert community of software developers. With each new release, they fix bugs, add new features, improve performance, and enhance existing features to stay up to date with new industry standards.

So in other words, when you do not update your WordPress site, you are risking your website security and missing out on new features/improvements.

Like The WordPress updates; With each new release, they fix bugs, add new features, improve performance, and enhance existing features to stay up to date with new industry standards within Third Party (TP) Plugin software.

Monthly Support Tasks

Our monthly support tasks can be anything from technical questions, text edits, image replacements, blog post creation and scheduling.
We track these tasks using 15 min blocks so make sure you accumulate your tasks into groups to get the most out of your monthly tasks time.
When clients are on a ‘Website Care Plan’ the hourly fee has been reduced by 40%.
On-demand tasks or extra tasks outside your plan allowance will be charged at $90 ex. GST to provide extra incentive to clients to have us more involved in your website and keep it fresh.

Database Cleaning & Optimisation

Part of successfully running a website is to ensure that it is optimised ( in other words, that your load time is acceptable and on a par with your competitors). We will be regularly reviewing this, and acting on it on your behalf.

Enterprise-Grade Network Security

Security regularly scans and check to ensure your site is clean, and if any files become infected we will be able to spot them on time and act quickly. If you or our team spot something which doesn’t seem quite right with regard to security, on request we can do a manual scan of your websites and receive valuable security information. Don’t be in the dark when it comes to your security.

Uptime Monitoring

Our uptime monitor notifies us if a website goes down, giving us a chance to look into and resolve the problem before it becomes serious.

Performance Scans

The Performance Check provides insight into your website and how it’s performing. It’s the first step to highlighting and solving problems. Your Monthly Maintenance Report will highlight any drops in performance.

SEO Ranking Tracking

This keeps track of how your keyword ranking, finds out who your competitors are, and how you stack up against them.

To keep our clients in the loop at all times, we can provide professional client reports as a PDF document. These reports provide transparency to clients, documenting; tasks managed on their behalf and what has changed in the past month specifically to all key items within their chosen ‘website care plan’.

Strategy, Coaching & Advice Sessions

Regular monthly catch-ups provide added value to your overall marketing and improve your website performance and exposure? Have us join your team meetings once a month and make suggestions.
We will review the current status of your website (your report in detail to start) and then point out what has been successful, what should be reused, what other channels are available to connect to your website and attract more traffic, sales or inquiries.
It is vital you are transparent on all your marketing efforts so we can provide a clear indication of the success of each marketing channel.

Performance & Security

The continuing performance of your website depends on constantly updating software, specifically plugins and the core software of WordPress. A monthly website care plan will ensure that all of your plugins and software are regularly updated to reducing the chance of being hacked, or attacked.

Updates regularly include patches to security so if they are not done quickly then you leave the door open!

If you are on a Website Care Plan;

We have your backups in place.

1. We work with a Security Analyst.
2. To find the intrusion.
3. To remove the bad stuff.
4. And create a strategy which provides a checklist and prevents future intrusions.

If the intrusion is our fault, or should have been prevented via the services you have been paying for, we will cover the cost of the security specialist. 

If the intrusion is your fault, via pore password management or other, the cost of the security specialist will be billed back to your business. Unfortunately, some businesses or employee have less than secure ways of managing things like passwords or their own PC’s security. This can be an access point for intrusions which is outside our framework controls.

Costs shouldn’t be more than $550.00 if we are overseeing this for you. If we are at fault we will absorb this.

Full disclosure: we haven’t had to employ a specialist yet, so our protection levels have been perfect to date. We will prioritise our workloads to give such an unlikely event our attention to resolve this on your behalf as quickly as possible.

We do not accept any liability for website downtime, or loss of income through the website during this”review and resolve period” to get you back online. It’s almost impossible to prevent all attacks and hackers find new ways every week, meaning even the most secure websites can be hacked.

If you are NOT on a Website Care Plan;

You hopefully have been keeping regular backups, and are able to provide access to where the backups are stored?

We can employ and work directly with a qualified Security Analyst on your behalf and at your cost.

If we are not employed to manage the ongoing care of software assets on your website, the incident is your responsibility. BUT WE DO CARE! We will provide a free consult to help make some suggestions on what next steps are at that time.

Costs are not known until we review and consult with the Security Analyst. We don’t have the same insights that we would if you were on a Website Care Plans.

Please note: If you didn’t have any security in place and are not keeping regular backups, your website may die and require a rebuild. The cost of rebuilding your business website is; the downtime leads lost, time and money!
