Brief : Full rebuild and migration of content from this larger organisation website. New website must be easier for Staff to maintain, users to navigate their way to all content on both PC and mobile. I number of productive features to be built into the back-end allowing for advanced form, auto-image optimisation, events manager, media manager, custom post types, premium security, facility booking and so on… Massive job, but a great project and the second council we have partnered with as a team effort.
Approach : We started off the process by providing the WWC Manager for Tourism and Marketing with the Niche Ignite website worksheet, had a number of meetings and as a team effort working directly with Rachael Hogge and members of their team we extracted the core needs of this advanced rebuild. We had several follow-up discovery session during development and some training session after going live, along with some custom demo videos of common tasks for staff to use as a SOP.
Outcome : Waratah-Wynyard Council engaged Niche Ignite to produce a new website in early 2020. We needed something that better represented who we are as a Council, providing a strong brand presence and reflecting our commitment to our community through open and transparent communication. We wanted a site that was more user friendly and incorporated online functionality such as forms and payments, facility bookings, recruitment and feedback tools.
From day one through to the day we went live – and now 12 months later with ongoing support – we could not be happier with the level of service provided by Niche. Cain is a hands on project manager who goes above and beyond to understand your needs, workshop ideas and implement solutions. The result is a website that we believe is both beautiful and functional. We would highly recommend Niche to anyone looking for personalised service and great outcomes!
